With over 20 years of experience as a Visualization Artist, I have had the privilege of contributing to some of the most beloved films, games, and commercials in the industry. From crafting immersive game cinematics like Destiny 2 and Fortnite Festival to designing memorable scenes for films such as The Croods, Monsters vs. Aliens, and The Book of Life, my work is defined by a commitment to storytelling through visual artistry.

I excel at bringing ideas to life using industry-leading tools like Unreal Engine, Maya, and proprietary software such as Bungie’s Grognok and Tiger. My skill set includes cinematic layout, mocap integration, camera operation, and set dressing. In every project, I focus on delivering seamless workflows and innovative solutions to elevate creative visions into stunning realities.

Throughout my career, I’ve taken on roles ranging from Previs Lead to Layout Supervisor, earning a reputation for leading teams through complex technical challenges and delivering on tight deadlines. I’m passionate about pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling, whether through markerless mocap research, developing dynamic shot workflows, or enhancing animation pipelines for interactive and linear media.

Shane is really comfortable representing complex and subtle camera styles. He built some great shots in Monster vs. Aliens, like Link running up to Susan during “The Battle”. He works so cleanly with the camera curves that his work processes really well in Final Layout.
